About
The Migration Research Institute was established in September 2015 with the purpose deepening understandings of migration phenomena – particularly immigration in Europe – through synthesizing the scientific findings of various disciplines. The Institute pays special attention to studying the political, economic, social, and cultural realities of the key countries of origin, transit, and destination. To carry out research, our researchers frequently travel to these areas, gaining valuable field experiences that permit a more accurate description of the migration processes at work. The Institute collaborates with a number of international research institutes and experts, seeking to facilitate the exchange of knowledge between these actors. The Institute also participates in the Hungarian social and scientific discourse on migration by regularly giving professional and educational presentations as well as media interviews. Further details on the work of Migration Research Institute can be found HERE. EMPLOYEESTamás Dezső
