Emese Kovács
Emese Kovács obtained her Master’s degree in Law from Eötvös Lóránd University in 2009. Afterwards she got enrolled at Metropolitan University College in Copenhagen, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Global Nutrition and Health in 2013. She worked as a research intern at Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility (ICCR) in New York. After her studies she worked with EU agricultural subsidies at the Danish Agricultural Agency. Later she got a food policy analyst position at the Danish Ministry of Environment and Food, where she prepared background materials for political descisions and was part of the organizing team of the World Food Summit. She joined the Migration Research Institute in March 2020. Her main field of research is immigration and integration policies in Scandinavia and the implications of food policies for food security and migration.
