Projects linked to the Somali prime minister’s circle received huge sums of money from Swedish government aid funds. In return, the Scandinavian country requested that Somalia take back deported migrants. Edith Krisztina Dócza, senior analyst at Migration Research Institute, told InfoRadio that the Swedish government is setting a precedent whereby countries outside the EU can receive rewards for taking back their citizens.
