Member states asking Brussels for help to deport Afghan migrants

EU member states are asking the European Union to step up the deportation of expelled Afghans. Governments argue that only 2% return to their home country. They are asking Brussels to restart deportations to Afghanistan at the EU level and for Frontex to play a greater role in organizing returns and coordinating reintegration support.
