Ireland tightens migration policy

The Irish government is aligning the country’s immigration policy with the EU migration pact, while also announcing a series of stricter measures within its national jurisdiction. In the future, Dublin will impose stricter income and housing requirements for family reunification, and working asylum seekers who use public housing will have to pay rent subsidies.
