The Russian-Ukrainian war is further aggravating the situation of the people of Africa: 28 million people in West Africa and 13 million in East Africa are projected to be in need of basic services. By June, this number could rise to 37 million in the West and 20 million in the East, with 360,000 children in Somalia alone facing starvation. The magazine Képmás interviewed Viktor Marsai, research director of the Migration Research Institute, about the situation on the continent and the consequences for Europe.
