Viktor Marsai, research director at the Migration Research Institute and Szabolcs Janik, deputy director, gave an interview to Origo.hu.
Our deputy director pointed out that it is difficult to say clearly who is leaving for what. Of course, even during the migration crisis of 2015, there were those whose lives were actually in danger in their home country, or at least they rightly felt so. Our research director stressed that the past seven years have shown that it is completely unnecessary to make grand provocative estimates. Even in the case of the collapse of countries with relatively small populations, one and a half million people can be displaced within moments.
