The Republicon Institute organised a conference on the Russian-Ukrainian war entitled War in the Neighbourhood. Among other things, invited experts discussed how a change at the top could stop the war in Ukraine. Viktor Marsai, research director of the Migration Research Institute, said that it would be unacceptable for Moscow to integrate Ukraine into European institutions during the conflict. “In comparison, even a failed country, cut in two, in any condition, is more acceptable to the Kremlin,” he said.
