Bordering Ukraine to the west and south are Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, and Moldova — all of which are taking in refugees. Poland has by far the most people pouring across national lines, says Kristóf György Veres, a senior researcher at the Hungarian Migration Research Institute (Migrációkutató Intézet), who is also currently an Andrassy national security fellow at the Center for Immigration Studies, in Washington, DC.
