Janik Szabolcs, deputy director of the Migration Research Institute, said on Kossuth Radio that while the construction of new facilities can be justified from a humanitarian point of view, the optics and perception of the decision are unfortunate, as it sends the message that Greece and the EU expect the current unfavourable situation to be permanent.
